“It is twenty years since many churches in the UK experienced a phenomenon that came to be known as ‘The Toronto Blessing’. Thought by some people to be a work of the Holy Spirit, people experienced strange and bizaar manifestations such as shaking, uncontrollable laughter and being ‘slain in the Spirit’. What was it? What differences did it make? What legacy has it left behind? These are some of the questions we will be addressing.”

We would be pleased if you were able to join us, and make this meeting more widely known.
Today, the 23rd of September, 2014, I would like to find an appraisal from your conference of The Toronto Blessing, which I witnessed firsthand 20 years ago, and which completely decimated Christian life in Canada. It was a tragic time, and the blind who lead the blind are still in the ditch apparently.
Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for your interesting comment. Each of the four sessions were recorded and will be uploaded to SermonAudio.com shortly. I will pass a copy of your note to our pastor, Chris Hand, when he has opportunity he will likely get in touch with you to give you his thoughts on your own remarks.
The Lord be with you,
Alan S. Flint
